Head down to Callaway Gardens for the 20th annual Hot Air Balloon Festival. Watch them soar, or take a tethered ride yourself. Starts tonight with the Friday Night Balloon Glow. Family fun all weekend with live music, beach activities, a classic car show and a kids zone.

As Jill mentioned yesterday, DragonCon is in full swing, with so many fun events throughout the weekend. And you won’t want to miss the annual parade on Saturday.

Check out LudaDay Weekend hosted by rapper Ludacris. This 3-day bash includes a celebrity basketball game, exclusive golf tournament and family day of fun at Turner Field, with food, drinks, games & live music.

It’s officially football season, so head down to Mercedes Benz Stadium on Saturday afternoon for the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game. Auburn will be taking on the Washington Huskies. AND, Georgia Tech's home opener kicks off at 12:30, and the GA Bulldogs will kick off between the hedges in Athens at 3:30.
